Is it better than use indoor electric grill? would it work fine at a gas range? beside the grill mark, would it taste different than regular pan?
is it true you don't need to put oil on grill pan unlike regular pan?
Grill pans are awesome!!! Like any pan or grill, you should always spray it with some cooking spray so that your food doesn't stick. Your food will definitely taste a lot better because you will get that char grilled taste.
The only thing about using these grill pans, is that you need to make sure your kitchen has a good ventilation. What I do is heat up the pan on high until it's ready to go. Then I spray the pan put my meat on the grill pan and lower the temp to medium heat. This will help cook your food evenly and reduce to smoke if any.
