Invitation To Las Vegas

"How would you like to come to Las Vegas for a break?" A former colleague of mine who now lives in Las Vegas asked me this questions. She is an elementary school teacher there who is enjoying life as a single gal. I told her that I would love to since I have never been there. I am not into casinos, but I would love to see Las Vegas anyway. There's got to be more to Las Vegas than casinos. She laughed at me because she's a casino girl. 

Las Vegas is actually in my travel wish list. The only problem with her invitation is that she lives with her aunt and family. I don't think I would feel comfortable staying there. I  would probably have to find a hotel las vegas. I know there are many hotels there that are affordable and yet have very nice accommodation. 

Boy, this plan really sounds good. I hope it won't just be a plan, but would really come true. I sure could use a good break!
